Growing knowledge. Cultivating stewardship. Sharing abundance.
The Promised Garden School was created to help people reconnect with the land and gain the practical understanding needed to cultivate it well. The teaching grows from years of hands-on experience restoring and developing the grounds of Global Spheres Center in Corinth, Texas.
A garden can become much more than a source of food.
What began with a commitment to establish a prayer garden expanded into community gardens, composting systems, food-growing spaces, an agroforest, water-management strategies, a barnyard, bees, and creative educational programs. Each new project brought new lessons about listening, observing, adapting, and working with the design of the land.
The school brings those lessons to students everywhere. Its approach is rooted in the belief that God is the Creator, that people have been entrusted with the care of creation, and that a garden can become much more than a source of food. It can be a place of restoration, beauty, learning, family connection, generosity, and community.
Meet Daniel Arenas
Daniel Arenas is an urban garden specialist whose journey in the United States began in 2011. He later redirected his design experience toward ecological and sustainable practices that create social and environmental benefits.
His work has included assisting underserved urban communities, managing social-environmental projects, developing recycling and sustainability systems, and applying environmentally responsible practices to homes, businesses, concerts, and festivals.
Since coming to the United States, Daniel has spent years cultivating the same land at Global Spheres Center in Corinth, Texas.
